Yesterday’s Report
Hey everyone. Sorry I missed my weekly Music Tuesday post but yesterday was crazy! Snow caught a bunch of us NYers off guard and if you know anything about New Yorkers, we like being prepared!
After a day of driving in the snow, rescheduled doctors appointments, microwave repair guys and work in between…I’m happy to report that Chris and I are having a baby girl 
The doc says that both myself and the baby are doing very well and all is looking normal. Normal is such a funny word to hear. I don’t anticipate anything about my child being normal as neither Chris nor I would define our personalities or lives as normal. But hey, when it comes to this, I’ll take normal!
So I apologize for the lack of posts to read but hey – here are some pictures of our little girl, Charlotte Grace

First Snow
For the first time this month, the weather man was right – we got a snow storm!! There’s something so nice and fun about the first snow. It’s pretty, it’s cold, it’s different, it’s new….
I think that’s kind of how all things in life are. The first time you do something or see something, it’s amazing. Then every time after that it loses a bit of it’s magic. Sometimes if you take a break, the magic will re-appear. But sometimes, it just takes some effort to find the beauty in things again, whether it’s the 3rd time or the 500th time.
It amazes me how quickly things can go stale. Whether it’s a friendship or a talent. A personality trait or a relationship. If we don’t pay attention to things on purpose, and find the good and freshness daily, we may let the magic disappear and one day wake up wondering what we ever were thinking in the first place.
Looking for a “fresh” new years resolution? How about this. Try and keep the magic in life. I promise, it’ll be a goal worth reaching for.
