It’s The Little Things…Little Things…

…sing along! (See below)

Lately it’s really those little things that make a difference.

The Good Little Things:

A smile from a stranger in the store

A coupon deal that actually works out

A baby that stops crying when you pick her up

An email from an old friend

A compliment from someone you respect

A quote that perks you up

A cup of coffee that is made perfectly

A ray of sunshine with a cool breeze

A quick kiss and “love you” in the morning

The Bad Little Things:

Someone cutting you off when you’re driving

The total on your bill higher than you expected

A fussy baby for some unknown reason

A friend that doesn’t call/text/write you back

Finding out someone you respect is upset with you

Someone teasing you about something your sensitive about

A messed up order by a barista

A cloudy day when the weather man predicted sunshine

An argument first thing in the morning

Just a reminder that your actions, or lack of actions, DO matter. They make a difference. They have the power to change someone’s day. A little thing to you can quickly become a big thing to someone else.

Not sure what the little things reference is? It’s a kick back to one of my favorite songs of 2000!
