New Music Tuesday:David Crowder Band

I must admit, a few years ago, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the David Crowder Band. But my experience seeing them/worshiping with them live at Cornerstone 2007 changed my mind. If you haven’t given them a try yet, now is really the time. They recently released their latest album, Church Music, and I seriously can’t stop listening to it! It’s a 73 minute non-stop musical experience unlike any Christian “rock” album I’ve heard. It takes you on a journey with musical influences from the 70s and 80s fused together with their much developed electronica sound.

Not convinced yet? How about the fact that they covered Flyleaf’s “All Around Me” in a way I never would have thought possible. And just 3 tracks later break out into a FUNKy Daft Punk-like dance track appropriately named “Dance.” Check out some of the tracks below!
